The location and view are excellent, but the rooms are very tired and overpriced. Also, the bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable.

So this is a very 70’s property but the views over the lake are to die for. So peaceful and lots of wildlife. Saw bald eagles golden eagles and much else. Don’t expect a fancy room but remember it’s all about the location. Salmon House restaurant also v good. Make sure you walk some of the trails. Staff also super nice and helpful

Lake Quinault is such a fabulous rain forest location. If you're not a camper then you're options are limited. This property has a beautiful location, the staff works hard to make your stay easy. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The salmon at the restaurant on site was spectacular. If you're looking for a sunny vacation then no property here will make you happy, if you're looking for quality hiking with a dry bed at the end of the day then I would highly recommend the Rainforest Resort.

The room was about what I’d expected. The only problem was the deodorizer. They used some kind of horribly strong scented deodorizer. It was very intense, especially after coming in from the fresh air. This irritated my nose/allergies.

The resort is in good condition but the mattresses and blankets are old and need to be replaced. Over all, the rooms were pretty clean and the view of the lake was beautiful. The Salmon House restaurant by the resort is expensive with bad quality food.

We had a great stay. The property is dated but clean as a whistle with incredible views of the lake from every room and amazing hikes within steps of the hotel. Sadly it rained while we were there but the bonus was that the waterfalls around the lake were magnificent. These trails are other worldly and the ones we did were not long or difficult.

This lodge is such a relic from the past which adds to the serene landscape right out your room window. Unbelievable older retro rooms in the best condition than I could imagine, being the age of the motel and PNW moisture. It’s like stepping back in time and leaving the busy world in which we live in hundreds of years away. I will definitely return again for future visits and recommend this wonderful lodge to many others. Prime location for Olympic NP beaches, just a few steps to nature trails and the Quinault Lake. Office provides a gift shop and store for all your needs. They even have their own little post office adjacent to office. Just to add a plus, a restaurant with full bar just across the road ( steps away as well). Perfect vacation!!! I loved it here & will be back. :)

The staff are super nice. However, the rooms are very outdated, the heat/ac unit is very loud, and the frogs outside the room are also too loud. It was very hard to sleep at night due to all the factors.
