"This property is such a dream! I can’t rave enough about the communications, setting up everything we needed and more on our trip. Debby was wonderful with all our transportation set up, groceries & everything we might have wanted. Chef Luis & Hilary delighted us each morning and night with their culinary MAGIC! The food was so fresh & so FANTASTIC! They even prepared the fresh fish caught by a fishing excursion that day. The house is huge! Almost so large that our group of 16 had trouble...

"We absolutely loved this house!! Very spacious and clean! Mefi took care of all our excursions and taxi rides. He even got food delivered to our house for us! I will give you my opinion…the Chef for this house is so good!!! We had breakfast & dinner with him for 3 nights. Fresh ingredients & so worth the money! Our cleaning lady kept everything clean & fresh. She even does the laundry!!! Cannot say enough positive things about this place! Tons of different wildlife can be seen from the porches!...
"The staff was incredibly friendly and kind. The cleaning staff left my girls extra chocolates, made swans on the bed for my 7 yo, showed us sloths, and found us a private boat to go on that would fit my whole family. The free breakfast had a huge variety of things to choose from and was delicious. Everything about this place was amazing. "

"We saw howler monkeys, capuchins, agoutis, toucans and macaws. Home was clean and caretakers were very friendly. There is a small error in listing that wasn’t a problem for us. There are 2 full baths-1 upstairs and 1 downstairs. The listing mentions 2 additional half baths. The downstairs unit can be rented separately and is not connected internally to upstairs."
"This hotel is on a steep hill, but the staff is very helpful in getting around with the golf carts they have on-site. Access to the beach is contained within the property, although the beach itself is a little commercialized (non-hotel people offering chairs for rent and selling souvenirs).
The restaurant was lovely and the hotel itself is not too far from some very nice restaurants. The room was also very nice.
As the staff mention - BEWARE of monkeys!! They WILL enter your room if you do...

"Beautiful property with a lot of amenities. Staff are amazing and so friendly. Our room was incredible (the ocean view). Close to a lot of shops, restaurants, market, beaches and the amazing national park. Would only stay here if coming back. "

"Our trip was amazing. We had a smaller room at the top with ocean views. There was a huge patio shared with 3 other rooms but we mostly had if all to ourselves, because the other rooms were vacant. There was a nice pool downstairs. It was a relaxing ambiance. We saw a lot of monkeys, birds and wildlife. We walked to Manuel Antonio National Park from the hotel as well as the beach. It's also not far to drive to a park called Rainmaker Park & hike to see many waterfalls and wildlife. Highly recommended. Costa Rica is a beautiful place and we loved staying at El Faro Beach Hotel. It was clean and comfortable, had good showers, excellent breakfast choices, & a convenient location. "
