The cleaning staff left my girls extra chocolates, made swans on the bed for my 7 yo, showed us sloths, and found us a private boat to go on that would fit my whole family. The free breakfast had a huge variety of things to choose from and was delicious. Everything about this place was amazing. "

"This hotel is on a steep hill, but the staff is very helpful in getting around with the golf carts they have on-site. Access to the beach is contained within the property, although the beach itself is a little commercialized (non-hotel people offering chairs for rent and selling souvenirs). The restaurant was lovely and the hotel itself is not too far from some very nice restaurants. The room was also very nice. As the staff mention - BEWARE of monkeys!! They WILL enter your room if you do not lock the door. We were lucky to catch them before they took anything. "

"A fantastic place! The room was crisp and clean with daily housekeeping - not as common today as it once was. The kitchen in the room was well equipped. The shower had great pressure and hot water. The pool was very pleasant with plenty of lounge chairs available. The free cabanas were a nice touch. The daily hot breakfast with 8 different options was excellent. Room service for lunch and/or dinner was a very large selection and was no additional cost to have it in the room. I would absolutely recommend Oceano to everyone staying in Jaco!"

"My husband and I spent 5 nights at this beautiful hotel. We were greeted by friendly staff and a delicious welcome drink. The room was beautiful, clean, and had a peaceful stream running in the back. It was so amazing sitting on the balcony and refreshing your feet after a long day exploring and adventuring. The restaurant was amazing and had a ton of options for vegetarians like myself. The food and cocktails were DELICIOUS and the service was immaculate! We had relaxing massages on site enjoyed the many trails around the hotel. Additionally, the front desk staff helped us organize different activities with local tour guides. No negatives here. Would definitely recommend this gorgeous resort and hope we are lucky enough to visit once again! Pura Vida!"
