"Lovely little B&B with a warm and friendly, artsy vibe. Beautiful and comfortable rooms. Water heat/pressure was sometimes hit or miss (not a real issue, but just to level set expectations) and there was no A/C (as expedia said there would be)--but it's way up in the mountains and open windows cooled things fine! We loved the staff, the tasty breakfast, the beautiful bottles embedded in the walls spreading color everywhere, and the amazing patio! PLENTY nearby in terms of food, including a Soda right next door with GIANT delicious empanadas!"

"Being in our room here almost felt like being in an upscale cabin or treehouse! It was very quiet and peaceful. There were thunderstorms at night and I loved listening to them while lying in bed. The bathroom was extremely nice with good soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion. There is a lovely trail at the back of the property. "

"We had a wonderful stay at this fantastic hotel right in the heart of Monteverde. Our room was modern and comfortable with amazing rainforest views. The on-site amenities are top-notch - beer garden (with great food and homemade beer), jacuzzi, yoga classes, juice bar - and everything at the hotel is done sustainably. The hotel's own farm (Finca Madre Terra) provides most of the restaurant's ingredients, including the cheeses, and every dish we tried was amazing. As a non-drinker, I was also very pleased by the delicious mocktails. We also booked a Horseback Riding experience at Finca Madre Terra through the hotel and it was a highlight of our Costa Rica trip. We had a fantastic stay. (PS - don't skip the walking path, we saw so many white faced capuchins!)"
