"Can't imagine a better location within Portofino. Directly at the harbor and once down the stairs, right in the middle of things. The apartment is not high end however, not in poor condition, either. Frankly, it was exactly as described and we had a great, albeit too short of stay. The only thing I want to add is that getting to the third floor apartment, up extraordinarily steep and very narrow stairs can be a daunting task. My only complaint was that the neighbors above were a bit noisy, but it didn’t inhibit our enjoyment. Note that there is no AC and no elevator to the room, but this was not a problem for us. "
