We sat inside when it rained and watched the wildlife around the small lake and marsh. Everything we needed, and the bonus of a friendly outdoor cat who elaborately greeted us every day. We were happy to meet the owners who were very kind. Would definitely rent this or other nearby house (if we gather a much bigger group of relatives) again."

"It was a cute cozy house. Beds were super comfy, the view was beautiful, the neighbors were friendly. It was close enough If you need to make a run to the store you could but far enough away you can disconnect. The house literally had everything you needed, cookware, plates cups coffee machine. Towels. Everything you could think of. The owner was super friendly and very responsive and helpful. Had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again."

"We (wife and I) spent 2 nights here as a get-away/Christmas gift to each other, and it was beyond expectations! The location is in a quiet area and close to Kenosha for the shops and restaurants. "This is the second time we stayed at The Retreat. LOTS of space inside and out for our family to gather. Kids age 3-10 could not get enough of the heated pool and the adults especially enjoyed the hot tub. We added an 'exrra' and had a small family reunion one of the afternoons and the place was perfect for this. Game room such a bonus when it rained. We didn't need to leave the property but some checked out 7 Mile Fair. Communication with the owner was timely. I'm sure the family will vote to...
