Only minus was that our room was somewhat inconvenient - the sockets next to the beds were uderneath the bedside tables and had the bedside lamps already plugged in, so charging phone next to bed was possible but required unplugging the lamps and moving the table. "Loved the sea-view room, and the bed and chairs were very comfortable. What the Expedia listing does not say and their own website does is that there is live music every weekend, which can be loud enough even on the 2nd floor of rooms that sleeping might be difficult. Also, the parking area has only six spots for the 12 rooms at the hotel, so it’s not guaranteed that you would be able to park in their car park (5 pounds/day charge). "

"I was unexpectedly stranded in Edinburgh, and selected this hotel for the night before my next flight. It was a wonderful place to stay! The staff were incredibly friendly, I enjoyed the design, having a terrace and lounge was delightful, and it was close to many of the things I wanted to do and see in my one day there. The bed was comfortable, and I fell asleep very quickly. I would definitely go back the next time I am in the city!"
