"Love this place and would stay here again. Everything is renovated beautifully. We loved sipping coffee while watching the hummingbirds outside the window. The Murphy bed was comfortable as well as the main bed. We were incredibly bummed that the fog never lifted during our stay. The water is RIGHT THERE, but we never saw it. Location is great, close to ft Bragg and Mendocino. Of note, we felt weird taking a shower or washing dishes because it is plastered everywhere about how bad the drought...

"We love staying in this comfortable cottage. We come with our kayak group and many of them camp in Mckerricer and this cottage is almost inside the state park. Very close to the beach and a beautiful coastal bike trail. The home is clean and has everything you need for a great vacation stay. We've stayed here multiple times and will be coming back in the future."

"I’ve been coming to Mendocino for 25 years — sometimes with kids, sometimes with my spouse, and sometimes on my own. This is the nicest place I’ve stayed at. I initially booked it for myself, but then my husband decided to join me. I was worried from the pictures that it might be too cramped for 2 people, but that was not at all the case. There is a nice comfortable indoor sitting space for 2, in addition to the kitchen table/chairs. And of course the garden space is amazing. But even on a rainy...

"We stayed here for 4 nights, it’s a very cute place with everything you can think of amenity wise, I don’t think I’ve stayed at a place with as much as this one. The only two songs I’d give it is we noticed a lot of homeless people walking down the street, we never felt scared but it detracted from the rest. The other issue was the mustiness of the place. It was best to leave a window or two open with a fan on during the day. I would stay here again as it was a great overall value."

"I’m sadly back to reality now after spending 4 nights in this beautiful space. We arrived after a long, chilly, rainy drive to a warm and welcoming home away from home. The location was perfect for exploring nearby redwood forests and beaches. We also loved simply hanging out at the cottage… so comfy inside and so peaceful outside. Nikki is a great host, responded right away with any questions we had. Will definitely return!!"

"My husband and I stayed at the cottage for my birthday and we had an amazing time. The view is hands down the best part. The hot tub is so relaxing and the privacy is perfect. We listened to the waves and birds as we enjoyed the deck area. We will probably bring our own pillows next time because these were quite flat, but nothing to stop me from coming back!"

Chairs on the lawn with a fantastic view, s’mores kits, water bottles in the room. Every thoughtful detail—so nice to settle in for the night in a place like this. Also very close to Mendocino—4 minute drive to restaurants, stores, coastal walks, etc. "
