"This is a charming place built in the 1800. Very interesting and wordly art/decor. Shiela (the hostess) is very friendly and extremely accommodating and helpful. She goes out of her way to make sure your stay and visit to SF are memorable. breakfast is very good with fresh berries, yogurt, salmon, and many other items. "

"The St. Francis hotel is a beautiful and historic building near Union Square in SF. It is conveniently located near a lot of popular destinations and near the famous cable car lines. My stay was very comfortable thanks to the wonderfully maintained rooms and courteous staff. I will definitely be considering staying here on my next visit."

"Great location. Very clean. Breakfast buffet was great!
The parking is expensive but well worth as it felt safe.
The only down side was checking in. I felt the staff wasn’t super friendly but it was such a small part of our entire stay. Would stay there again for sure "

"We returned from Europe and were tired. Aloft was very inviting and the service was outstanding! The room was clean and welcoming. The bed was like a cloud after 11 hours on an airplane 🤗"

"Loved the location! We also loved being able to stay in a historic, beautiful hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful at both the check-in and check-out process. We truly felt welcomed right off. The room was small, but we were fine with that. The beds were very comfortable! We also had a nice view from our window. The only tiny critique which the hotel being historic can not help, is that our bathroom has a small step-up. Even though there is a sign there to warn you, I was slightly afraid of tripping on it. This was minor though, as it was truly beautiful inside and out. You are greeted with cookies, fresh lemon water, and coffee/tea at all hours in the lobby. All in all, we loved this hotel and would definitely recommend it to our friends and would stay there again if ever going to San Francisco in the future. Thank you!"
