"This was a cute cabin, and it served my need to hide for a few days and check out of daily life. The 4 days I was there were rainy, so I didn't get to use the patio, but it was there and had a grill & patio furniture, as advertised. In fact, it was all as advertised & I enjoyed staying there. "This was a sweet house. Very clean, with lots of places to sit outside. Unfortunately for us, we did not have good weather, so we were restricted to indoors. Anyone thinking of renting should be warned that there is a single bath on the 1st floor, with 2 bedrooms upstairs. The kitchen is small - with a single small table and only 2 chairs, so, meals were around the couch. the kitchen is small, but well for incidentals like spices. We contacted the owners for information, and they responded...

"It was amazing. If you are looking for a place with scenic views look no further! Absolutely stunning to walk around the deck and enjoy the blue ridge mountains. However, I would HIGHLY recommend a 4WD. Don’t make the mistake we made and think “oh well, I am a good driver it shouldn’t be an issue”… chances of someone getting up the last few hundred feet with a fully loaded front wheel drive are very slim!! Anyways, it’s great to disconnect while at the same time you have everything you need...

"My boyfriend and I stayed here for the night while on a motorcycle adventure. The hotel was very clean, quiet and within walking distance to a great Mexican restaurant, which was directly next door to the hotel. Hotel also had an excellent breakfast! Would definitely stay here again!"
