"While visiting nearby family, we only needed a place to sleep, shower and use as spot to keep our luggage. All of our needs were met. It is directly behind the high street, with the local pubs, tea shop, restaurants and shops a brief walk away. The host was very friendly and accommodating. There is an interesting history to the property, making it a charming place to stay."

Our only complaint is that a hot tub was advertised but was non existent which was a huge misrepresentation by Vrbo on the property details. "We had 6 friends visiting from the US for 3 days of golf. The house worked very well including to host a group dinner for 12 people total. While you could walk about a half mile to Taplow the location is a bit in the countryside so be prepared to travel by car for most things. We would absolutely rent this home again and it served us well for this trip."

The rail station is a 15 minute walk one way, and the Thames River is a fifteen minute walk the opposite direction. The check in process was a little frustrating. I requested to check in early, but was told I need to reserve the entire previous day to check in @ 11AM. I did not receive the lock box code prior to arrival, so I had to contact the property management for...

"Hotel itself was nice and cozy but it was clearly short-staffed. The few present staff were super friendly though. Liked the fact that they allowed us to take our kitten there which made the whole trip far more enjoyable. The room we stayed was a spacious suite with a comfy bedding."

"The hotel is closing to guests in order to take in refugees so not such a smooth operation. Not the fault of staff who were all friendly and helpful. Full marks to Kamman who kept bar open after his shift ended for late revellers. We were attending a wedding nearby so didn’t require full facilities. Breakfast ok but very busy. "
