The garden is a peaceful haven with lots of space and flowers... and Thames footpath is very close by. The only issue was that our room was not ready on time but the above-and-beyond helpful staff more than made up for the inconvenience and we had a delightful wait in the garden. "The hotel is closing to guests in order to take in refugees so not such a smooth operation. Not the fault of staff who were all friendly and helpful. Full marks to Kamman who kept bar open after his shift ended for late revellers. We were attending a wedding nearby so didn’t require full facilities. Breakfast ok but very busy. "
