“Great stay! All of the rooms were wonderful! Really close to food! There are a lot of stairs so make sure you are able to walk up but really great place!”

We used the extremely close public transportation for all our tourism and there were food shops as well as small restaurants very nearby. The kitchen had everything we needed. Location was close to everything we had planned for the week, it was more than enough space for our crew of 8, all items needed to cook and clean during our stay were readily available, the grocery is directly across the street and there is a parking spot behind the property so you don’t have to find and walk from a street option. On street parking is easy which is a very big plus for me. The unit is always clean, quiet & comfortable. The area has many restaurants & access to the city is easy. “The apartment is darling and well appointed. There's tons of sunlight and the house is comfortable. Public transportation (specifically the L) is a 12 minute walk, and it's a fun, adventurous excursion for shopping or restaurants. The apartment is definitely on a noisy corner. We live in NYC and are accustomed to exterior traffic sounds so it didn't bother us much, but suburban, light sleepers should be prepared.”

“We have stayed at many VRBOs and rental homes over the years, and the Bella Villa is one of the best! John is a thoughtful and responsive host. The apartment is surrounded by the character of Little Italy and is convenient to public transit and all the offerings of the Chicago area. The unit itself is very well appointed and filled with lots of little extras that make it extra special. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area!!!”

“Location, location, and location GREAT Couple of blocks from Wrigley field. There was no place to sit and have a conversation or eat. A small table with chairs would be nice. Since there is no table it would have been nice to have a TV in both bedrooms. The bathroom is so spacious and the shower is wonderful. We loved it. We have give the information to several of of friends to use”

“This location is perfect for games at Wrigley. The Metro station is 3 blocks away. This was one of the cleanest properties we have stayed in. When we arrived the carbon monoxide monitor was beeping and needed new battery. A call to the owner got a new carbon and smoke detector installed promptly. Great customer service. This unit is the lower level and down a few inside stairs to enter. The washer and dryer are shared with the building and coin operated. However, quarters were provide by the……

“This host, Ali, is the nicest, most efficient and most responsive of any of the properties I have stayed. The location is perfect for me and the neighborhood is safe and walkable. I believe this is the fourth year I have stayed here and it is always wonderful!”

“I'm going to start off with some highlights. I really liked the location. You couldn't walk two blocks without finding a cute shop or some great food. The neighborhood felt very friendly. The unit was pretty small but used the space very well. Now for a couple negative details. The unit is within 20' of the train so there are trains passing every few minutes. “The place was as pictured and in a quiet and safe appearing neighborhood. The only thing that was not as expected was the cleanliness. There was debris in the doorway which I might expect in a lower level apartment, but it was throughout the kitchen and sitting area, I swept up 2 nails and a good size pile of debris. The bathroom had not been cleaned, there were dried water spots with toothpaste, I had to clean the bathroom before using it, including the toilet. There was a dirty coffee cup and……

“Husband/wife/teen needed a place for a weekend stay near Northwestern. The teen slept on the couch and was comfortable. Street parking was never a problem. It IS a basement property and you can expect some noise from neighbors above, but it wasn’t overly intrusive during our stay. Host very responsive and accessible. Worked out great for our needs.”
