“The place was as pictured and in a quiet and safe appearing neighborhood. The only thing that was not as expected was the cleanliness. There was debris in the doorway which I might expect in a lower level apartment, but it was throughout the kitchen and sitting area, I swept up 2 nails and a good size pile of debris. The bathroom had not been cleaned, there were dried water spots with toothpaste, I had to clean the bathroom before using it, including the toilet. There was a dirty coffee cup and……

“This is a great spot to stay with a group of friends or family. The apartment is lovely and the hosts were great. They answered questions quickly and sent plenty of information before the trip about the area. It was a great visit to Chicago and I will stay here again.”

This was my first visit to Chicago so I don’t know much about the different areas of town but the neighborhood seemed like a nice place to stay, it was very quiet and clean. “Highly recommended. The property was tastefully decorated, clean, supplied and comfortable. We found it as it was described, the stairs to the upper apartment, indeed would not accommodate anyone with a handicap or very elderly. We enjoyed our stay visiting family and seeing sights in Chicago. Parking is a little tricky but our host was kind and a good communicator. We would definitely stay there again.”

Very nice neighborhood , the only thing that was wrong was the hot water pressure, also we felt like we couldn’t enjoy our stay because they would message us about the noise from the tv and us talking so we spent most of our time outside the place . But it is a very nice place to stay ! I would stay again if needed the host was very nice .”

“We picked this rental primarily for its location. The nature of our stay did not necessitate much use of the kitchen but it appeared to be fully functional. Clean and roomy for two and bed was comfy. We just needed a bed and shower for this trip so we did not lounge around. Fairly close to Brown Line if you are sensitive to noise but did not cause us any issues. Third floor older walk up in nice neighborhood, especially in the spring time. Reported issues with shower to manager. Info requests……

“It was perfect for my needs for the week! Great area, right across the street from a park! Within walking distance/delivery distance to several dining options! Walking distance to Rush (about 20 minutes) & had 2 bike stations within a 10 minute walk in 2 different directions! Downside was it was near a train station so it was loud when you were outside but I could barely hear it when in the apartment. Plus there was construction going on so that added to the noise. Everything in the apartment……

“Ich habe schon mehrfach in Sonder Appartements in den USA übernachtet und war auch hier wieder sehr zufrieden. Die Lage ist gut, alles im Zentrum ist fußläufig oder mit einer kurzen Bahnfahrt erreichbar. Lebensmittelgeschäfte für das Nötigste in der Nähe. Das Zimmer war sauber, gut eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet was es braucht. ”
