"This is not just a hotel, this is an experience! Stayed here for you one while taking in Hearst Castle, which was also awesome. The staff at Cavalier were great, the setting is stunning, the rooms are great, and the grounds are all set up for you to relax and take in the majesty of the ocean. The three firepit areas had roaring fires at each and was a great way to enjoy a glass of wine, the fire, other travellers, and the ocean.Would highly recommend this hotel."

"You should definitely check out this awesome little hotel! We were blown away by how friendly the staff was from start to finish. It's not a fancy resort, but it's super cozy and perfect for a laid-back stay. The location is so peaceful, with the sound of waves right outside your window and cute little frogs croaking nearby. Trust me, coming from a hectic metro area, this place is a breath of fresh air. I'll definitely be telling all my friends and family about this gem. And you can bet I'll be booking a room here again next time we're in town. Just a heads up, some of the buildings like Cambria and San Simeon don't have elevators due to the rules, but they made sure to accommodate us on the first floor since we needed it. And yeah, there's no A/C, just fans, but honestly, with the cool weather we had in June, it wasn't an issue at all. So keep that in mind when you're planning."

"Our first time to stay at Sands by the Sea. Very comfortable, quiet and an easy location within a few minutes drive to the Hearst Castle. Visitors Center. The room is roomy, clean and has a very comfortable bed! And great to reheat leftovers in the microwave, coffee maker and a bigger sized fridge available. The beautiful beach is an easy walk within a few minutes with a fire pit to keep you warm. "

"We visited Quality Inn, the check in was smooth, the whole staff was very helpful and kind. The room was clean, the breakfast bar was fully stacked and it was delicious. "

"This 2 bd 2 ba condo has everything needed to comfortably house a couple with two additional people. The Master bd has a queen sized bed and attached bathroom. The other room has 2 single beds, and there is a bathroom in the hall. The kitchen, living and dining areas are very nice and the view of the ocean is unbeatable. The unit we stayed in was on the second floor and had a deck with a bbq, on a small bluff above the beach. We had no issues and found everything to be in good working order and were very satisfied with the two nights we spent there. I would go back."
