"The property is exactly as advertised. It is a bargain for its location, just 3 blocks from 5th Avenue and from the beach in the very nice and modern Colonia Zazhil-Ha. There are some very nice outdoor spaces, a plunge pool, and the room is well appointed comfortable. There’s a Roku TV, a coffeemaker, refrigerator, hot plate, breakfast bar, AC, even a book shelf with books. when you’re in Playa, you probably won’t spend much time in your room, but it’s nice to have a comfy, affordable option...

"The place is a little sketchy but worked for a one night stay pinch. I like a firm bed…… this bed was like concrete! Don’t try to use the bathroom for real because you can’t flush the paper. Although if you’re looking for a super cheap getaway, I’d still look elsewhere UNLESS they change their beds. You can always walk to the mall to use those bathrooms so you can actually flush. Room 2 star Team 4 star"

"The pool and view of the roof top, the location, and the rooms were amazing! However the service is horrible. The rooftop bar has a selection of over priced, mediocre food and they charge for any add ons like ice, cups and water. They claim that the rooftop bar is independent from the rest of the hotel. We had problems with towel service, we would ask the front desk for fresh beach and shower towels and after hours and going back multiple times we wouldn’t get them. So if you dont plan on using...

"This property is not a Cancun 'beach' vacation. Definitely beautiful property but a bit confusing to navigate and a lot of walking involved - which isn't a bad thing, just be prepared to walk. If you decide to use the shuttle service you could waste a lot of time just waiting for pick up. Dining out is a bit pricy, Would be nice if all rooms had kitchettes or at least microwave (but did have small fridge and coffee pot) - which ours did not."

"It was great! Nice king bed and spacious room! Only issue I didn’t like was the entrance, you have to enter through a tequila shop and after hours late at night, you just have to hope the security guard is there to let you in. I didn’t have an issue during my stay, but I prefer knowing I can come and go as I please whenever with a hotel that has a 24/7 front desk."

"The hotel was not wear hotels.com said it would be. I called the hotel and the receptionist would not tell me the location of the hotel. The only said that he did not have my reservation and there was no available space. I spent the next six hours that's hotels.com trying to find a new hotel. Kudos to hotel.com for upgrading me from a $60 a night hotel to a $225 a night hotel in a fabulous location."
