"We had a wonderful room , clean and tidy. Well laid out furniture. . Wonderful helpful staff . Super roof top terrace to sit out on. Only stopped for 2 nights. Saturday night is outside disco night so don't expect much sleep unless you are joining in. Would go there again."

"Really great location. Right in the middle of the promenade. Lots of shops and restaurants/bakeries/coffee shops. You can walk for 5k either direction. Very clean and large apartment- we had sea view. Very well equipped. Toiletries provuded daily. Small kitchen area with everything that you need. Smart Tv. Definitely recommend. "Great budget small hostal, near beach, near restaurants. Took public bus 5 stops to the historical centre, only 2.35 euro return ticket. Don't know why it's only 1*, I've stayed in similar accomodations in eg, Cuba, Dominican Rep, they were 3*. True, it doesn't have any windows, but has an open-air terrace on top. Rooms are spacious, huge bayhroom. We had a car, left it in nearby public parking (multi storey) for 2 days, 25 euros. No valet, of course parked it myself. Overall, great."

"Worst checking I ever experienced. The security man was doing it and he wasn't speaking any English. He was so overwhelmed by the situation that he was using two phones at the same time talking with different people. I ve also noticed the man is doing some cleanup around the pool, wouldn't be suprised if he had some other tasks, so if anything give that man a raise at least! Some of the guests people."

Beautiful hotel with amazing staff.
"We were staying at the hotel for a special occasion and we were not disappointed. The staff at the hotel all gave impecable customer service which made our stay a memorable one. Tge hotel which opened its door in 1890 has been renovated over the years to give all the mod cons you would expect from a 5 star hotel. The room we had was extemely comfortable and well appointed. The hotel public rooms are stunning as are the grounds and pool area. Breakfast was a true experience and qe would not hesitate to return when we are next on the Island."
