"The bath in the room was exceptional. The concierge was fantastic and helped get us reservations at a restaurant that was unavailable to us. Very helpful and would definitely recommend. "
"This is an overall great hotel. We liked the central location a lot, easy access to subway, many sites, but more importantly it was spotless! Excellent hot water and water pressure. Our double room was spacious and we had everything we needed. Service was top notch. The entire team was friendly and helpful and very prompt with any of our needs. We wouldn’t hesitate to return."
"This is a clean, quiet, orderly, comfortable hotel which is modern and well-appointed, but has traditional features such as the public bath on the second floor and a comprehensive Japanese breakfast menu. The staff are exceptionally helpful and infinitely polite and friendly. It is also very convenient for Kyoto Station and for bus routes."
"What can one say about The Kyoto Okura? Par excellence - the hotel, the staff, the location. Leaves nothing to be desired. Will be very difficult to stay anywhere else were I to visit Kyoto again. "

Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. We arrived before checkin time and were able to store our luggage in their cloakroom. Similarly we were able to store our luggage after checkout, given our flight was in the evening.
