"An aparthotel well equipped with fridge, microwave etc, very convenient for preparation of food bought from the 7-11 next door. Local temple across the road from the hotel is a great place to visit. Bathroom amenities very good and modern, typical small Japanese bath. Washing machine also available. Overall a decent standard for the price, thoroughly recommend."

"Excellent apartment for an adult family of 5. Very spacious for Japan. Mats on floor were comfortable and used couch as another bed. Doubles in a separate room were very comfortable. Double sink bathroom with separate shower/tub and toilet was very convenient for all of us. Great new space. "

"Property was lovely the room and the bath was fabulous and locations was amazing. The only thing I didn’t like is that the cleaning staff forgot the garbage bag on my open suitcase so on my clothes which was quite disgusting. "

"Mimaru is an excellent place to stay in Kyoto. It is only three subway stops from Kyoto Stdtion and it is in a very quiet area. It has exceptional amenities and our room was impeccably clean and very comfortable. There is a Family Mart about 30m from the front entrance. Highly recommended."

The hotel offers robes, fun games and activities like origami making in the lobby and daily sake for free. Lots to do nearby and great places to eat right around the block. "
