"We loved our stay at the Outrigger. Most renovations were done, nearly everything we saw was new, including our incredible ocean view room. While there are only two dining options right now, both were great. The pool/slide/waterfalls were fantastic. Occupancy seemed a bit low, so no waiting for anything and we could take our pick for the best spots at the pool. "Very nice property. Well maintained and modern enough. There is an ocean view across the street but no close beach access. The staff was wonderful and the gym/ pools were very nice. On our budget I feel like we got a great deal and had a wonderful stay. We wish we would have stayed longer here."

"Just stayed one night to be close to the airport. Location was absolutely perfect. So close to everything Kona had to offer. Walking distance to most places. Would recommend even if we had stayed longer. We spent most our time on the Hilo/Pahoa side but this was a perfect end to our trip. 10/10"
