Spectacular ocean view from the lanai of this second-floor condo in Wailua Bay View. Enjoy view of waves breaking on Wailua beach, a favorite among kite surfers, and watch the Wailua river flow into the bay. Relax to the sound of surf, breathe fresh ocean air and spend a quiet evening admiring the moonlight glistening on the water or discovering stars in the night sky.
Wailua Bay View condos are located in Kapa’a, on the East coast of Kauai. The central location is ideal for visits to Waimea Canyon, Poipu, but also Hanalei and Northshore beaches. Papaloa beach is only a few steps away and shops and restaurants of Kapa’a are within walking distance. The east shore of Kauai offers surfing, swimming, beaches, hiking trails (Sleeping Giant), biking (8-mile Ke Ala Hele Makalae path), golf (Wailua municipal golf course), kayaking on the Wailua river and more. The unit is very nicely situated, right on the beach and walking distance to a nice little shopping area. The day we left a construction crew was there to do some major renovation which I'm sure will be nice. This is the 2nd time we stayed here- I would certainly be willing to do it again!

Stunning ocean front views!
We loved staying at this condo, it was hard to leave it. The views from the lanai were absolutely stunning. There was plenty of beach gear which was much appreciated! The bed was super comfortable. Since no one was checking in the day we checked out the host was very accommodating letting us leave our luggage while we went and did a tour. The only downside was 4 pm check in felt late compared to others, but we will be back!

Property very clean. View of ocean is enhanced by watching the wind surfers from the room. Good location. Unit could use some updating, but not reason to disqualify. If we return to Kauai will definitely consider rebooking.

I cannot recommend this property enough! Perfect for a couple, with a fully equipped kitchen, but the best part was the lanai overlooking the ocean. The property manager stopped by to ask if we needed anything. I’m already planning to book for next year. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay. This unit is clean, comfy, well stocked and convenient for seeing all the sights. The lanai is great for watching the sunrise, surfers and even some turtles. The local manager Marvis was wonderful.

Very clean and roomy. Enjoyed the lanai and the sound of the ocean waves daily. Bed was comfortable and the A/C in bedroom made sleeping easy. The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. Used the beach chairs and beach towels.

My Husband and I stayed about a week for our 30th Anniversary. The location was awesome! The Condo was clean and nicely decorated. It does need a little updating in the bathroom and kitchen cupboards. The sliding screen door needs a little TLC as it was difficult at times to open easily. Overall a great experience. Loved having the accessories (chairs, umbrellas, snorkel gear, cooler) for use. Nice to have the extra towels. Loved centralized location and watching turtles in the surf daily! Thank you so much!!! We would definitly return!

Outstanding Stay!
Had a wonderful week in Kauai - the rental was perfectly stocked and immaculately clean! Waking up and going to sleep to the sounds of ocean waves was a dream. Loved being able to have a meal out on the lanai - saw sea turtles! Took about a minute to walk from the complex to the beach for a swim - loved being so close to the water. Hope to stay again!

Anniversary Getaway
This is an excellent property in a great location. The property has a wonderful pool and a well laid out BBQ area. It was very easy to get to from the airport - about 15 min. Check in was very easy. The general property manager, Mark, was very helpful. His number and card are in the check in office. The view from the balcony was the first thing we saw as we came in the unit. Overall, the unit was exactly as described and very well equipped. It was also conveniently located to walk to a nearby ocean front restaurant and a touristy market. All points on the island were no more than an hr away. We had a problem with our door lock. Ilse responded to our note within minutes, and provided a solution. She even dropped by the next morning to make sure all was in order. Wonderful support and service.

Clean and Great Location
This was our 3rd time to stay at Wailua Bayview, but the first time in this unit. It was very clean, and the kitchen had everything that we needed. When we arrived, there wasn't any soap and the property manager quickly brought some. The front door needs to be replaced and she had to show us the trick to open it. Unit really needs to be updated.
