This is Montana at its finest! Ashley Lake is known for its clear, turquoise water and superb fishing. Bring your family and friends to spread out in this 4,000 square foot home with a large kitchen and two family rooms. Outside, you'll enjoy the deck and grassy backyard complete with a dock, fire pit, kayaks, paddle board, and a canoe. Grab one of the fishing poles and fish for cutthroat trout, yellow perch and kokanee salmon. There is a public boat ramp down the road if you want to bring your own boat.

The house is in the mountains west of Kalispell, up a well maintained gravel road. It's quiet and peaceful at the lake but only takes 25 minutes to get to Kalispell. Flathead Lake is 30 minutes, downtown Whitefish is 40 minutes, Bigfork is 45 minutes, and Glacier is 1 hour away. The mountains and views between the house and anywhere you want to explore are gorgeous so getting there is half the fun!

We provide everything from spices and paper towels in the kitchen to beach towels for your water sports. All you have to do is come and enjoy. This is where your Montana adventure begins!

Beautiful Home on the Lake
We enjoyed our stay so much at this beautiful, large, family friendly home right on Ashley Lake! There were kayaks and a paddle board the kids used and loved every minute they were on this very clear and beautiful lake. We were able to also take trips up to Glacier National Park from the home and it is only 20 minutes to Kalispell to get groceries, so we were able to enjoy the lake and still be close to town. The beds were very comfortable and we had plenty of room for the whole family. We highly recommend this home and location.

Montana Paradise
The beauty of the house and Ashley Lake are unparalleled so far in comparing multiple other VRBO properties at which I've stayed. Lindsay is an incredibly responsive and detail-oriented host/and owner who left us wanting nothing. The lake, itself, is what initially drew us to search this specific area and it did not disappoint! The water was cool, not cold, and truly emerald, turquoise, and azure--beyond words! We were 8 adults, 3 kids. Not once did we feel crowded. With 4 basement bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms downstairs in addition to master suite and powder room on main floor, we were not jockeying for showers, etc and had plenty of space. Kitchen was the most stocked I've ever seen in a rental. We cooked multiple meals daily x 6 days and did not lack any items. The large pantry (well-stocked with staples) provided ample room to avoid kitchen clutter). The 2 fridges provided more than enough space for freezer and fridge items. Recommend buying ice or bringing an icemaker (this was what we did) as the fridge icemaker is rather slow. The balcony, downstairs patio, and backyard had numerous seating options, large table to accommodate us easily. The gorgeous views of the lake were evident from every angle. The fire ring in the evenings was a perfect cap to perfect days. While the daytime temps were in the 80s & 90s with full sunshine, the house remained cool and the A/C easily kept pace as needed. With cool mountain air at night, A/C certainly was not required.

Exceeded Expectations
Every couple years we bring our family together for a vacation by renting a house in what is hopefully an enjoyable location. The house on Ashley lake exceeded our expectations in both location and the house itself. Our family had a great time and the “extras” provided by the owners also added to the positive experience. I wouldn’t be surprised if our family voted to go back sometime in the future.

Our four families had an amazing stay! Love the private location, quiet and beautiful surroundings. The home was well stocked, super clean and pretty much had all we needed. Wish the hot tub was available but other than that we enjoyed the kayaks and other water sport toys, fishing and just being in Montana!

Incredible Home With Spectacular Views
This home has an incredible layout, furnishings and amenities. The owners spared no attention to detail and comfort. Spectacular views and access to the glacier blue lake in the back yard, while close driving distance to Glacier National Park.

This house was incredible! It had everything we needed from SUP, kayaks, canoe, fishing gear, baby stuff, etc. It was situated on a gorgeous spot on the lake. Lindsay was quick to respond with any questions, was super helpful and kind. The house had something for all ages and the kitchen was well stocked. Our family had the best time! I’d definitely go again and recommend to others. All around amazing! Thank you for letting us enjoy your beautiful home!

Wonderful 50th Anniversary Stay
We rented this home as a gift for our parents' 50th wedding anniversary. The home exceeded our expectations. The owners have thought of absolutely everything - the house is very well stocked with practical items as well as fun items. We enjoyed playing around on the lake in the canoe, kayaks, and paddleboard. And had a great time fishing off the dock and roasting marshmallows in the firepit in the evenings. Ashley Lake is beautiful, and we spent a lot of time admiring the view from the lower patio and upper deck. The house is tastefully decorated and very clean. There were 11 of us and we had plenty of room to spread out if we wanted. The lawn was a great place to play yard games and the dining room and deck had ample seating for our entire group. We hope to rent this property again soon!

The best week ever!
Weather was not as warm as we would like and Glacier going to Sun Road was closed at Avalance creek! That was not a fault of the owners. The house is exceptional! Well stocked; so clean, wonderful beach and water toys! Loved The record player and record assortment. The furniture was so well appointed and table space for the 12 of us was ample. We just cannot say enough good things about this home. We hope you enjoy renting it in the near future it was a fabulous week for our family of 12.

Extremely beautiful scenery! Canoe and kayaks were a blast! Very clean and plenty of room for our group. We had ages from 5 to 69. Some of us stayed up late playing cards and noise didn't bother anyone !!

Home away from home
This place has everything you need for a cozy and scenic getaway. Our chefs of the group were pleased with the kitchen amenities and we all enjoyed the attention to detail to make us welcome. Things you may not necessarily think about that came in handy: 2nd fridge in the garage, bear spray!, memory foam (at least one bed), netflix, bonfire, board games. Not to mention water activities with plenty of lifejacket options in Lake Ashley was a real bonus. Early morning fog over the water was breathtaking and the water is one of the clearest I've seen. Unfortunately, there was an unavoidable issue we experienced but the hosts were very responsive and accommodating. We came for Glacier which requires a lot of driving as is and this place is about an hour away but we also took advantage of an nice hike nearby where you can see the island on the lake. I would not hesitate coming back again during the warmer months or for a ski trip in the area during the winter season with the family

Wonderful family vacation rental!
This home and lake were perfect for our family group of nine. It was beautiful, quiet, comfortable, & well organized. The kitchen and eating areas were ideal for a group, with our favorite eating area being outside on the deck. Everyone enjoyed the wide variety of books, games, and lake equipment that were provided.The kayaks & canoe were favorites & also catching fish off the dock. Lindsey provided great information on the area & followed up on any needs. We so appreciated the opportunity to stay here & look forward to returning again in the future.

Best property ever rented thru VRBO, and we've rented plenty! The home and lake were awesome. Ashley Lake is one of the prettiest lakes that we've ever stayed on. The home has plenty of room for a large family, a huge kitchen and eating area and a wonderful deck overlooking the lake. The generosity of the property owner in sharing amenities was unlike any that we've ever experienced with a vacation home owner. If you're considering a rental near Glacier Park and Kalispell, this is the property. I promise you that you'll be very happy! Thanks Lindsay and family for sharing your lake home with us!!!

Blue Lake Mountain Dream
This home is even more beautiful than the gorgeous pictures depict. Our group of 16 found this to be the most well stocked and organized home ever. Nature viewing from the dock or boats was top notch. The home owner was quick to respond, offer advice, and help us have the best experience ever! Although the location is a bit removed the drive was scenic and allowed us to see animals.

My goodness... I can't say enough good things about this place. Toddler approved, gorgeous location, insanely friendly neighbors, and the host is so on top of her game and easy to work with. We stayed here for our family reunion and absolutely loved it. We cooked all our meals here and had all the tools and space we needed, woke up each morning to a glass lake with birds chirping. Wi-fi was fast if you need to contact anyone or jump in for a few work things. Both neighbors were kind to say hello and asked if we were enjoying our stay. It's truly an oasis. We loved loved loved it here. Thank you for lending us your home Lindsay! It was such a great getaway.

Great lake house!
Home and lake were beautiful. There was plenty of space to spread out. The house was very well stocked. Had everything we needed to cook in the kitchen and all appliances too. Garage was packed with outdoor sports equipment, everything you need. Beds were comfortable. My kids loved the game cupboard. Property managers were friendly, accessible. Wifi available if you don't have cell service, which we didn't. Only negative had nothing to to with property or owners. Folks in Montana can be quite unfriendly when they know you're from out of town and interestingly, not a lot of wild area, much of the lakes in populated areas are sectioned off as private property so you can't just walk around exploring.

Absolutely Amazing!
This property does not disappoint! I rented this home for our family with the idea that if COVID shut all activities down we would still have plenty to do just staying at the vacation rental! Thankfully, part of Glacier was open as were most of the shops and activities in the area! But even if they hadn’t been, we would have been wholly entertained with just staying at the home! This is by far the cleanest vacation rental we have ever stayed at and has EVERYTHING you need for a whole family, with children of all ages. My 5 year old played with the legos for hours, the whole family played games and my 11 year old fished every day off the dock and from the kayak. We went out on the water as a family more than once, exploring the lake from a canoe and kayak. The pictures in the listing are exactly what you get, but it is even more gorgeous in person! You will not be disappointed! Thank you again to the owners for their generosity in sharing their beautiful home and making it “the best vacation ever” according to the kids (and adults)!
