"This was an wonderful condo and property with a lovely view of the beach, coastline and even Hulalalai volcano. The condo had everything we needed and we even used the beach and snorkel supplies. We also met some friendly fellow travelers who were staying in another unit. I would definitely rent this property again."

"We had a wonderful stay at our condo. They did a great job equipping the unit with everything you would want for cooking and outdoor activities. We requested additional boogie boards and they were delivered right away. Keyless entry was ideal for all of us coming and going. We made great use of the pool and hot tub and lived watching the sunsets from our patio."

"Being able to wander down the hill and across the street to snorkel was definitely a highlight. Our favourite room in the condo was the lanai, with it’s view of the park and ocean. The exterior of the complex is well-maintained with manicured gardens and a nice pool area. The condo itself is a little tired. Our host went out of her way to accommodate our check-in, making our vacation smooth and easy right from the beginning. "The Big Island Retreat is a lovely property located minutes on foot to one of the best snorkeling beaches on Big Island. We stayed in the Ocean view room which was over 2 floors. The view from the bedroom is lovely. The rooms are quite small with little storage. The bed was only a double and very high off the floor making getting into it really hard. The bathroom is not totally enclosed and has no basin as the kitchen sink is just outside. Although there was nobody staying in the rooms...
