"We flew in and showed up and the host never gave us the code to get inside the property. So we were literally homeless in another country. We repeatedly called and messaged the host and we were completely ignored. We called to complain and they tried messaging host and was ignored as well. The host has still not gotten back to us. We had already paid for one month in advance and didn’t get our refund until weeks later. It was a nightmare experience being in a different country with your family...

"We just stayed at this beautiful house for my husband’s 40th birthday with a group of 10 adults. The house and vacation exceeded our expectations! The home owners were great and accommodating in helping us plan our trip. The home is as pictured, but even better in person. Tons of different outdoor areas to hang out and dine. "Our stay, although short, was very nice at Castillo Romano. Theo and Morena made sure to welcome me and my family with open arms. Morena is an amazing cook and very friendly. Don Theo is the best! He helped us with anything we needed in the house and even gave us good advise for our trip to El Salto Del Limón. The castle is well kept and has amazing views. If ever back in the Terrenas with my huge family, I’ll be sure to book again!"

"Arrived and room had mechanical problems with HVAC, fans, remotes for the television. Asked to speak to a maintenance technician to address the problems, hotel staff became very obnoxious with me. Was eventually switched to a new room that had the same problems and more. Left within an hour of arrival and am working on a refund due to the unsafe and poor conditions of the rooms causing me to have to find a new hotel to stay at. "

"This resort is very clean! Only thing I didn’t like was the cushions on the outside furniture had some mold on it next to the pool. The staff was so attentive and knew type name. The resort was stunning and relaxing. No one really bothered you unless you wanted them to. The food was amazing! I wasn’t crazy about the breakfast but the other restaurants, everything I ate was so good. I also loved the coffee shop on the resort. The gym is so upgraded and it has all the equipment you could think of. I will definitely be returning. "
