I had extremely high hopes for this resort. It was beautiful, however the service was a huge let down. We did have a few people who were wonderful but overall, none of the employees seemed to enjoy being there & it made us feel as if we were bothering them. The pools & beach were great! The food was not as good as we expected, most dishes were bland & room service was always cold. There was soo much potential missed, don’t even get me started on the casino. That was my least favorite part!

Alright so this is my review. The property itself is really nice and well taken care of. The food is really good too. However the service is lacking a lot. The people there speak no English and while this is not a problem for me because i am a native spanish speaker, i also had trouble and a hard time understanding them in spanish. It is like their words do not even come out of their mouth. Most of times i had to ask them twice to repeat because i simply couldn’t understand. Don’t expect them to give good service. Im not saying all the employees were rude, but most of them are not friendly. There is a huge design problem with the property. When it rains it gets flooded. Everything was flooded at least 2 of the days we were there. The lobby, the restaurant, the hallways and even some rooms got flooded. If you are planning to come in june/july, think twice to come to this hotel because if the rain is strong then there is not doubt the property will get flooded. An employee said this happens all the time and also a local told us the rain/tornado season has not even started… I do have to say the food is really really good. Better than most, if not all, the resorts i have been to so that is a pro. The beach was clean too If you don’t care about service or daily activities then this might be a good option for you though. I didn’t like that you couldn’t go to the pool area without a local trying to sell you a tour or something We wont be back to this property

El hotel hermoso, No tengo nada malo que decir. Pero lamentablemente nos toco la estadia en tiempo de lluvias, y el hotel se inundo, cerraron el buffet porque no se podia pasar, el lobby se inundo, los elevadores liqueaban agua del techo solo por esto fue una terrible experiencia, no tenian un plan b para este desastre. Fuera de esto el hotel es hermoso y tranquilo.

1st i would like to say this is a beautiful resort. Unfortunately i didn't get to experience it. I book a 5 day stay and was only able to eat at the buffet or the valley. I was able to eat at the Italian restaurant once because Every restaurant was booked with no room Every night. The spa also was always booked. The front desk staff wasn't helpful at all with these issues. No microwave in rooms, and my refrigerator was warm. As far as the wait staff, grounds staff and bartenders, they were excellent. Jonathan from the lobby bar and Jason from the pool bar gave exceptional service.

Our stay at Lopesan was a delightful family experience. The spacious and well-designed rooms offered a comfortable retreat for us and our children. The resort's activities catered to all ages, from thrilling water sports to engaging kids' clubs and nightly entertainment. The facilities were excellent, with multiple pools and diverse dining options. What truly stood out was the attentive and friendly staff, who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Overall, Lopesan provided the perfect balance of relaxation and fun for our family, and we can't wait to return.
