"The hotel has a wonderful ambience and style. The room is extremely clean and very nicely decorated that gives you a unique feeling not that you’re in an ordinary hotel. We dined at the restaurant for dinner and the food was excellent and the waitstaff was friendly and prompt. I chose this hotel because it is located near the Staten Island Ferry and wanted to walk there the next morning at 5:00 am to take the ferry to the NYC Marathon. "It was a basic room, but enough for what we needed, would benefit from some renovation, toilet had a small leak around the bottom, and bathroom door needs replacing. The reception staff were extremely helpful, nothing was too much for them "
