A plumbing problem with the guest room next to ours, when they flushed the toilet ours made a bubbling noise! It kept waking me during the night. No compensation was offered because we "pre-paid" our stay. "

"Great location within easy walking distance of China town and the wharf. Parking at $25/night was easy in the lot across the street/adjacent to the hotel. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Room was more spacious than expected and beds very comfortable. Highly recommend and will definitely stay her again if in the area. Also highly recommend John’s Place less than a block away if you like big, down-home breakfasts."

"I stay here every time I visit family in Victoria. The staff is great and helpful. The inn is close to shopping, the Royal Museum and restaurants. It is also walkable to the harbor area and the Princess Hotel. It is very clean, free coffee in the morning too. Great value for the money!"

"Everything was great except checking out. I asked for my car to be brought round, and was told it would take 15-20 minutes. I took a seat within 4 feel of the checkout desk, after 20 minutes I asked where my car was in the queue to be brought round. She checked a little cupboard, told me it was waiting outside and gave me the key. Why did she not call me over when the valet brought the key to her - I was sitting right there! Very irritating end to an otherwise good stay. "
