"We stayed there because we were going to a concert @ Humphrey's. BW was in a fantastic location for us walking to the concert. The park across the street was wonderful! Shopping? We did not see ANY place to shop in the vicinity, not even a convenience store. Dining? Slim pickins. Just restaurants @ the hotels near by, which seemed to serve the same type of food & was expensive. Transportation, only taxi, uber and lyft, no public transportation available either. It would have been REALLY nice to...

Everything is in walking distance, the Midway is across the street, tons of restaurant options, DoorDash friendly. The best part was the customer service and the assistant manager of the hotel, Curtis Presley. He went beyond and above helping us out with navigating San Diego.
