Highly recommended this as the food at Coba is mediocre, the Akumal resort however had amazing food. On par with premium Vegas buffets. VIP premium also got us a free bottle of Tequila to take home. "We liked that the property was very clean and it had an option for booking a Villa which was ideal for us since we had a family of 2 with 2 toddlers. They were able to play in the living room together and had a large space to run around. The hot tub in the patio area was also a bonus. The restaurants had great food and there were lots of options.
