"We stayed at Shana for 6 nights. The staff of the hotel is amazing and very hospitable, they show that they love their jobs (like the back of their t-shirts says). Beginning with the front staff, Kevin and Katherine who were so nice. The bar staff, especially Warner who was super helpful and provided excellent service. The restaurant wait staff, Priscila and Lester were very accommodating and awesome. We met the chefs, Allan and Irwin. Allan came to our table to ask if the food was good, it was delicious. That was very special. Steven at the bar was very nice and Andrey was very nice too. The breakfast staff, Javier, Edgar and Lisandro were very nice and eager to assist with anything we needed. Lastly, Jairo who drives he golf cart was very generous and helpful. Overall, our stay was great mainly because of the wonderful staff and their eagerness to make sure we had everything we needed/wanted. I would recommend Shana by the beach as a great place to stay in the Quepos area. "

"Great place to stay while in San Jose. The water pressure in the shower is the best I have ever seen at a hotel, and the free continental breakfast was amazing. We were allowed to check in early because we were on off season at no extra cost which was so needed because we had not had any sleep on our red eye flight. The staff was inviting and helpful. I would stay here again. "

"Fabiola was a wonderful and attentive waitress in the restaurant. All the staff greeted us as we encountered them and asked if all was good. Very considerate. Our room is brand new. The hotel opened recently in Dec 2023 or Jan 2024. Beautiful and well appointed. We had a king room with a desk, sofa that also had a stand for computer use. Many outlets, lights, easy to use temperature control. The bath has full sized shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and body lotion dispensers. We had a very restful stay. "

"Love the resort, especially the pool areas. Very kid friendly, lots of activities and the walking distance to the beach! Also the staff was very friendly, prompt and great service! Future goers please consider tipping staff, these locals work hard and depend on your appreciation for that! Very friendly and genuine "

"Stayed at this hotel because we had an early flight out next morning. Checked, and this Courtyard is the closest hotel to SJO. 4am shuttle was early and ready to go. So transport to airport was a breeze. Staff were super friendly. Clean and well managed. Very nice room for the price. We were ready to relax and enjoyed the pool on 2nd floor. Will definitely stay there again. "
