"The hotel delivered on everything promised, view of Portsmouth at night and the hover port, clean, comfortable room, lovely staff and a tasty breakfast. Ideally located for the hover port, or ferries to Ryde, opposite the station and bus station for connections elsewhere on the island. We had a great stay, thank you "

"Very friendly restaurant staff. Reception team efficient and very helpful. Asked us about a ramp for my son's wheelchair anytime we came in and out of the hotel. Afternoon tea was an excellent experience. Since covid this is the 1st place that did housekeeping which really made us feel we were on a holiday. "

"Loved the view, the staff went beyond the call of duty. Our first time on the Island, can’t say a bad thing about it. Only issue, perhaps the shower water could be hotter. That was it!!"

"Reasonably priced and clean room, with plenty of space (room 3). We even had a hint of a sea view. Bath fixtures could use maintenance; an adjustable height shower would be a great improvement. Bed was comfortable. It’s not a modern building so has plenty of charm but expect noise to carry - we could hear the morning deliveries, refuse collection, and the evening music. Catering is OK but nothing special. Located right near the ferry and other pubs in Yarmouth. Overall great value for money."

"A lovely, very well maintained inn with a restaurant and pub, within walking distance of the ferry terminal. First rate menu with daily specials including fresh seafood. Pub has local ales on hand-pull. Spotless clean rooms with daily maid service. Friendly and competent staff. Note that this establishment is located in a residential neighborhood, so no other stores nearby. "

"The hotel was very convenient and close to the seafront. The room was comfortable and it had a walk-in shower which I needed. I also have difficulty with stairs, so I chose the hotel because it has a lift. It also has plenty of parking and the staff were very friendly. Will stay there again next time I visit the Isle of Wight."

"A cosy sea front hotel above a pub. Room 404 had superb bay window for admiring the view of the beach and sea across to The Spinaker Tower. The room is bright ,warm plenty of lights, mirrors and storage. A few things are a bit tired, curtains don't close properly, chest of drawers damaged and sink worn but comfortable bed and efficient shower over bath .Friendly staff and guest entrance when staff not on duty. Good value ."
