Later in the day, Colin came by to check if I needed anything. Since the nearby restaurants were closed, he personally made the drive to pick up food and deliver it to us. "Beck's Bed & Breakfast is a sweet jewel of a place in a remote region of the Crooked Tree Wildlife Refuge (a birder's paradise). Robert and Becky are warm, incredibly knowledgable hosts and provide a respite from the hustle and bustle of vacation stress and more tourist dense areas. If you love birds and plants and two sweet dogs you will love staying here. They had Christmas decorations galore so we didn't miss out on the Christmas spirit. We wish we could have stayed longer. "It’s a great property right on the beach, very walkable, super cold A/C, loved the staff. They were friendly and accommodating, even held our luggage after we checked out. Only downside were sugar ants in random places in our room, but didn’t stop us from having a good time. Would come back again! "

"I like that everything was laid back. We had our privacy. Massages were amazing. The food was good. Tours were offered by the resort, which was convenient! Transportation vehicles were Teslas and everyone had great attitudes and were super friendly. The resort itself was an hour away from the main city, but I didn't mind. The resort folks took care of us. It was a true vacation. Overall very excellent. 👏"
