"We have been staying at Grand Colony for years. The reason we keep returning is the convenience of walking down the beach to the dive shop, having a full size kitchen and individual bedrooms for everyone. There are no amenities to speak of. No restaurant, no bar, no spa, the beach chairs have seen better days but so has the beach. The sea grass is nothing Grand Colony can help but it does make the ocean unswimable. "It’s a great property right on the beach, very walkable, super cold A/C, loved the staff. They were friendly and accommodating, even held our luggage after we checked out. Only downside were sugar ants in random places in our room, but didn’t stop us from having a good time. Would come back again! "

"This was a very nice stay Highlighted by Extremely nice staff at both the hotel and the restaurant, daily cleaning staff in rooms and all-around. The food was quite good at all meals, with weekly specials and the hotel is in walking distance of other fine food establishments for a little variets. The manager arranged some special deals for us. Belize is especially appealing for scuba and snorkel groups rather than just beach folks. Gym across the street."
