"Staff friendly and competent. OK breakfast. Diner was fine. We could not quite understand the high rating this hotel got. Forest themed, the decoration was sad, a bit outdated and worn. The mattresses were thin and not particularly comfortable. Our view of the forest was to a rain drenched copse strewn with beer cans and a tissue (I hope unused). Perfectly adequate, but overrated.

"Modern business hotel with a generous breakfast buffet, underground parking and a short walk to the old town Cottbus. Short drive to nearby Puekler Park estate."

"It would be nice if ice was available for guests. And more electrical plugs near the beds for CPAP machines, phones, watches, etc. "
