"We stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott Manhattan/Chelsea for one week on a super busy business trip. It was conveniently located for us in Chelsea. The front desk staff is not great, they are not warm nor welcoming in general. BUT all of other staff were amazing, especially the team at the café. "Great stay. Quiet inside but could hear street traffic. Breakfast was very good. Although there were a lot of people in line for breakfast, they had a good system that got us seated quickly. Breakfast area is nice and big. Could not get temp in the room to fall below 68. Great for MSG events and Penn Station."

"Great location. Friendly and good staff. Bathroom is tiny. The sink is like a guest toilet half sink. Could be better designed to use the space. They only serviced the room once in 6 days and you HAVE to book that service. I don't think that's acceptable when you have a family of 4 sharing a room. There's no provision at all to hang 4 towels to dry so you end up drying off the next day with a slightly damp towel. I wouldn't rush back to this hotel but I guess it was ok value for what it was. "

"It's an old convent. Mother Theresa stayed in room #409. Unfortunately, not my room #. In the city for an assignment tomorrow. Needed a reasonably priced (under $200), clean basic bed & private bath. The bath towels are very thick and fluffy. Its perfect for my needs. Convenient to the ACE Subway.The TV is pretty small though. It's old fashioned. Don't leave the hotel with your key (a real actual key). When you return, give them your room # and name to retrieve your key."
