The location is excellent, very close to the main street with many good restaurants. “We just enjoyed the best two nights here! We loved learning about the history of the Inn and the place is so well preserved. The innkeeper and chef were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was so delicious both mornings. The location was great as well. Almost everywhere we wanted to go regardless of the direction was 15-20 minutes away. “Huge well appointed room. Incredible breakfast. Host was very accommodating to guest needs, as many of us had to be up early for UVA graduation. She made to-go breakfasts for everyone with fresh muffins, yogurt, fresh cut fruit. Lovely overall experience. Nice not to be in the center of town near Grounds. Very easy access when you do.”

“Bill and Cynthia are such amazing hosts and the property inside and out exemplifies it. What a great place to stay for some serious rural R&R! The property was very clean. They have thought of everything one would need for a delightful get away. If you forgot anything, just ask and they are sure to help one way or another. The Fresh eggs, courtesy of their chickens, were a treat and the farm animals are such fun…esp Posy, Zoey and Hemingway. We hope to return soon for a longer retreat! Thank you……
