"As others have said, this is a basic room with a bed, bathroom, desk and chair and not much room for anything else. Having said that, the bed was very comfortable. Be sure to ask the Host for a fan if it gets too warm as there is no A/C and the window didn't open much. Convenient to downtown: across the street from the Grieg Concert Hall and a market, 5 minute walk to the bus station, train station, light rail station, 10-15 minute walk to the fish market. Beautiful hotel with a view.
"Our stay at this hotel was very enjoyable. The staff was friendly and our deluxe room had a beautiful view of Bryggen. Great location and easy walking distance to restaurants and shops. Breakfast buffet was pretty good but big crowds in the morning so go early. Would definitely stay here agin. Only downside was the noise at night from the local bars and clubs but with the windows closed it was barely noticable. "
