"We had 9 adults and 1 six year old at this property. It was a beautiful lake front home with plenty of room for all of us to gather together. We all had a wonderful vacation and would highly recommend this home. There was one canoe, one kayak and 2 tandem kayaks for us to use which we did several times. Hearing the loons in the evening made my stay even better"

"We stayed at Breakwater in October 2023 with two young families. The apartment is well stocked and worked well for two couples with three kids under 4. Luke was super accomodating and provided us with pack n plays and a high chair, and was also very responsive. "The property owner was wonderful providing info and help as needed. The kitchen was well equipped for those who like to prepare meals. Staying on the "quiet side" of Mt. Desert Island was good for us. We had easy access to Acadia National Park and could drop into the busyness of Bar Harbor when we wanted that experience."

"Staying here for the second time to visit Acadia NP. Very friendly staff, 24 hour coffee and cookies. Room service is by request once in 3 days, but fresh towels are available if needed daily. Breakfast menu is good with hot sausages, omlettes, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit choices but is the same every day. About 6 miles away from Bar Harbor downtown. The property area is clean with nice flower beds."
