"We were confused and could not follow the instructions on how to check in. Really needed to have a car because you check in at one place and then are sent to where you are actually staying. Never did figure it out to check in. Very difficult if you have to schlep your bags by yourself. "

"We had a really nice stay at Poggio Del Drago!! Very peaceful location outside the city but Arezzo is easily accessible by car or bus. We did not have a car and Emanuele kindly picked us up from the train station which was much appreciated. Breakfast was great every morning, the rooms were clean and we always felt very safe. Beautiful views, would absolutely stay again!"

"Property is very clean with extremely good location-inside walls with excellent dining and some shopping. Host is helpful. Be aware, this is a mountain-too town so parking is a couple blocks away with steep walking. Call host before arrival for directions to park. It was difficult for me or Expedia to contact host, but he was cooperative and helpful when we arrived. Very nice, large room and bath. Quiet considering it is on main street. I recommend the facility and location highly. "

"My wife and 3 young (8 and under) children stayed here and we loved it. It was the perfect B&B experience and very child friendly. Mrs Francesca was a sweetheart and prepared amazing cakes and treats for every breakfast. The beautiful property was like an Italian fairy tale and close to many must see sites. "

"Here is a rare find in the middle of Umbria just outside Citta di Castello. Area is agricultural, quiet and safe. 5 minutes away is the town with several supermarkets and clean laundry facilities as well as the 'castle fort' itself. Our room, Room 5, was large and clean. Arezzo and parts West, Urbino and Fano on the Adriatic within two hours car drive. Spacious parking. This is an excellent place to stay and a great central location to come back to."

La residenza d'epoca 'Il Cassero' è stata davvero una scoperta. Un vero e proprio castello, rimasto pressoché inalterato, con un fascino unico. In quei giorni vissuti a Lucignano ed in particolar modo nella residenza in oggetto, mi è è sembrato davvero di vivere nel passato. Esperienza unica che consiglio vivamente a tutti coloro...

"Stephano goes out of his way to make his guests feel at home. The place was comfortable and spotless. We enjoyed getting to know our host and his city. The kitchen is well appointed with a well stocked wine rack. Read through the reviews, they are accurate! Comfortable bedding, lovely surroundings and, oh yes, a wonderful bakery across the street. "This property is located approx 5km from the beautiful town of Arezzo. There is a bus every hour, daily, from Tregozanno, where the property is actually located, to Arezzo. It is very rustic and in a beautiful setting. So relaxing. And, because it’s not right in town, the best of both worlds. There are no restaurants in Tregozanno but there is a great butcher and deli/mini market. There is also a pharmacy and bar! Maurizio, the owner lives next door and is the loveliest, most helpful human being...
