"I learned that the Magnolia hotel was built first in 1910 as a Bank and a family bought the building in 1995 and converted it into a hotel. This hotel has character and history. The hotel is conveniently licated near the conventiin center and just a walk away from Union Station. Cons: one elevator was undergoing renovation and the other 2 elevators were very busy. This is understandable. Love: the hotel offers coffee and tea with a variety of milks to choose from in the mornings. In the afternoons they offer cookies and milk. The gym has a set of weights, 2 benches, 2 peloton bikes, a couple of treadmills, area for yoga etc, and locker rooms. The gym has towels, water and fruits. Is well maintained and clean. "

"Arrived earlier than check in time because of my flight and planned on dropping my luggage off to explore the city, but was able to check in because my room was ready. The staff during my stay were all super nice, and the restaurant downstairs was SUPER convenient. I got around on the bus, which was within walking distance, and also easy as I downloaded it on my phone. There are a lot of other food places nearby as well, so if you didn't want to catch the bus, you could walk, or do as others and rode scooters. "
