"My only criticism was that it’s on main road so its very noisy meaning I didn’t have a great nights sleep, it was clean but I’m not sure I would stay again did the noise all night "

"The service was exceptional from beginning to end of the stay. On arrival despite a panic alarm having been sounded elsewhere in the property the staff member was calm, professional and friendly throughout. Special mention to the Starbucks staff who greeted us with a warm friendliness on the two occasions we visited. Overall excellent hotel. "

"Pros: Convenient location, nice room & shower. Cons: More lockers to store large luggage near Reception would be helpful. No fridge in the guest room was inconvenient. Guests who were staying on the floor above were extremely noisy - children running around late at night and early in the morning. "

"I actually like the place, convenient, close to the city center. Neat, quiet and safe environment. They were all Friendly and welcoming. Will always be my to-go in Cardiff. The only problem was the broken coffee machine when i was around. "

"Overall the property was good. I had some initial problems checking in. My main issue with the hotel is that there are no safes in the room. I need somewhere to lock my valuables for safe keeping. This is non negotiable for me and therefore i will not return. Gives me anxiety"

"Staff were very friendly and helpful! I was unfortunately suffering from food poisoning and so went to bed as soon as I had checked in. My boyfriend spoke to staff and everyone was very friendly and helpful in getting food for me that was plain and good for someone suffering from food poisoning! I am also gluten intolerant and so really appreciate that they had gluten free toast for me in the morning"

"Great convenient location overlooking the castle and arena, only a short walk into the town and facilities.Lovely breakfast and helpful staff. My only (minor quibble) was that the bathroom was on the small side, however the room was a good size."

"I wanted to stay near my friend's home while visiting but there really aren't other hotel options in this part of Peckham. So a pleasant surprise to find the Victoria Inn updated, clean and comfortable. The train station is an easy walk, and lots of bus options for the high street to get to other parts of London inexpensively. My room was quiet, and was never bothered by noise from the pub below. The breakfast was great, and the staff friendly & helpful. Would definitely stay here again."
