OK to sleep in, but not much else
As a bussiness traveler I should’ve known better. There’s no free wi-fi, and the paid service is penny pinched with hourly rates, the kitchen was more of a sink and a microwave, and the room service consisted on making the bed and piling up more and more towels in the bathroom. The room was not cleaned once over the entire week I was there. There’s a strong interest of selling you timeshares, or whatever it is they sell. The staff tries, successfully, to work the least possible, starting with the gate watchman, who waved me into the complex every time of day or night without checking my credentials once. This is more of a room wharehouse, with thousands of rooms, and cheap "luxury" features. If you’re looking for an inexpensive place to sleep in from which you can tourist around, or pass out after partying this is not a bad place. If you’re on business and want to be be treated mildly right, go elsewhere.

Bookers Beware the dreaded Timeshare
I have stayed with West Gate Lakes Resort prior to our visit here at West Gate Lakes Town Center. With West Gate Lakes Resort, it was a timeshare facility; however, we had the ability to decline the whole "timeshare mandantory 2 hr meeting". This occasion was quite a bit different. I was not allowed to have my room key once registered at the desk. It was given to my Guest Service Representative Fernando, whom was quite polite and helpful. After explaining that I had stayed in a West Gate Lakes owned facility before, I made sure to let them know we were on a family vacation and not interested in the timeshare spill. We were hounded from day one about this "mandantory" meeting. We were called every night about 2 min after returning to our room. The night before we checked out, the air conditioner was remotely turned off, therefore we spent that night and the morning getting ready in an 80 degree room. Also, they auto control the system while empty so after a long 9 hr day in the Orlando heat at Disney, we welcomed a cool room only to find we had to wait at least an hour for it to cool to a comfortable temperature. Sadly, we will not be returning to this, nor another West Gate Lakes facility. I would not recommend this hotel for a family vacation.

Fun Kissimmee stay
Westgate Towers is convientley located off I-4 on 192. Our room was very nice. It had a living room, bedroom with queen bed and a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. Westgate Towers is a time-share facility but I booked the room as a hotel room. Many amenities to use at your leisure. Beware the fact you’ll be asked to listen to a time-share presentation. Just tell them you booked a hotel room and are not interested in time-shares. All in all we enjoyed our stay at Westgate Towers.
