“The cabin was 12 miles up the mountain from the highway. Be aware that you are staying in the mountains , beautiful but you need to be cautious. Centrally located , we drove to Boulder , Golden, Idaho Springs but made sure we were back before nightfall. The cabin is nice , a bit smaller than the online pics show but very clean and stocked with extra towels, toilet paper etc. the two bedrooms are pretty tight and the loft is NOT for adults , very steep climb up. We were given the wrong entry code……

“Donna's place was great. Felt secluded, yet close to things needed. The fireplace was fantastic, as well as having access to the snowshoeing gear to enjoy the trails behind the house. Responsive and detailed communication, and smooth check-in and out processes.”

“We absolutely loved Larry’s place in Boulder Mountains! Everything was as advertised and even better! The home slept 7 of us perfectly and everyone was comfortable. The setting, streams, hiking and short distance to downtown Boulder for our daughter’s graduation was ideal! We would love to stay here again!”

“The most they had received in 10 years, said the locals. Yes we were there for the March 2024 storms and the forecast were accurate. Almost 61 inches measured in Nederland. We had a great time though and our teens learned what it really means to shovel snow. Briggite was accommodating, and kind the whole way through.”

“We LOVED our weekend at this cabin! It was just perfect! We came to Colorado to elope and because of the rain, ended up just eloping on the beautiful grounds of the cabin! It couldn't have been more amazing! Great accommodations for us and our 4 kiddos! They loved exploring the grounds. I hope we will be able to return to the place we got married on our first wedding anniversary!”

“I wanted some time in a cabin, in the mountains. It was quiet. My friend and I enjoyed the peace and making a fire to warm up. It was far enough away from Boulder to get out of the city , but also close enough to hang out in city. Overall, great stay. The driveway into the property is steep. Luckily I drove carefully, but a little heads up to be careful driving in should be stated, as there is a cliff with no guardrail. We returned when still daylight out for this reason. We are not……

“Was a nice place right on the creek had no problems, property was as described. The beds need to be replaced, everyone one of them was very creaky, you couldn't roll over without waking up someone in the bedroom next to you.”

“The location of the property was perfect for us - close proximity to Boulder while being far enough to be peaceful, quiet, and without much light pollution at night (great for stargazing and photography). Wildlife visits every day/night - turkeys, hummingbirds, and a family of deer slept just below the back deck one night. The place could use a couple of upgrades, but it was comfortable and stocked with everything we needed. A great home base for excursions into Boulder, Rocky Mt Park, and……

“The house is cute and quaint. We could not find a toaster so that was unfortunate at breakfast. Enjoyed staying in the mountains. Would return again. The host was very nice.”

“Very nice home, no AC, but it was cool when we visited. Lots of dead flies in the house. Back porch railing and stairway planks outside are loose. If reinforced, it would be nice to have outdoor patio furniture. I can see why there are none due to the condition of the outdoor deck. Interior is very nice, comfy bed and sofas. Views are INCREDIBLE”

“First a warning - this is not a good place for seniors. I'm 81 and able bodied. My wife is 77 and very unstable walking. Partly our fault that we didn't check on the ease of access. Other than that the place is wonderful and we did our best to enoy the ambience!”

“Neat place. Out of the way yet close to everything we wanted to do. It snowed and there was no shovel or salt available; it is definitely in a tree! I loved it but doubt we’d be back. Close to red rocks”

“House was amazing!! This house was perfect with AMAZING views! Definitely will be booking again! We were caught in the huge snow storm and lost power and water - Nate stayed in contact with us all day to make sure we were okay and even offered to move us to another location they had if needed. He had the driveway cleared of snow so we could continue our vacation. The house had everything we needed and the entertainment/movie/theater room was great to relax and watch movies during down time.……

“Hard to find the location, directions take you to a building next door. The signage to indicate the property location is not so great. Once we were checked in, it was great!”
