Both beds had not been changed since previous guests as evidenced by lots of body hair and dirt. I asked for clean sheets and had to wait in the lobby 15 or 20 minutes before they brought me some, and then I had to change the sheets on the bed myself because they apparently didn't have housekeeping staff available at night. The room key didn't work initially, which meant a very long walk back to the frint desk with luggage to get a new key, which then also didn’t work. Prices were higher than normal for the Memorial Day weekend so they could easily have afforded to give me a partial refund, but they did not offer any. I had to kill two spiders in the room, one which was directly over my head when I woke up. The toilet was sitting on four wood shims and was unstable as you sat on it. Even though the hotel is on the lake, none of its rooms has a lake view, which was disappointing. The free breakfast was not good. The staff was nice but seemed to be overworked, at least at night. The only quality in this hotel is in the name. Glad I only had to spend one night there!
