“If this property is available, and it lines up with your travel dates, just book it! I’ve stayed at many places, and this was one of the most comfortable and clean places ever. The host is super-responsive and clearly cares for this “floating home.” Upon arrival, the boardwalk will greet you with potted succulents while the home is warm and unexpectedly spacious. One can feel the tidewater surroundings of this incredible location where birds fly overhead and herons wade. Plenty of supplies……

“My husband and I stayed here for 7 nights and had a wonderful time. Many great restaurants within walking distance and very cute town. The houseboat is clean and updated. Has everything for cooking meals in too. The bed is very comfortable. Our favorite place was the top deck. We sat up there every evening to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Mallory was always responsive to messages and made a great video to show how to find the houseboat and use everything inside. It was a unique experience……

“I spent a month on the houseboat called “Salty Dog”. I had my 20 lb puppy, Tilly with me and a friend who is a professional pet sitter came and joined us a few times. Two things really impressed me. 1., the boat was superbly equipped as if ready for a long range voyage and 2. The neighbors were all Salties - creative, fun, and helpful. Proximity to everything from a grocery store , laundry and to a pub and a bunch of great local restaurants all within walking distance was great. Parking was easy……
