"View from the rooftop is absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, the roof is closed/ locked until 8am, so you can’t go up there in the morning to watch the sunrise over the sea (part of the reason for booking this place). Building is still under construction, as well as several nearby buildings. So expect to hear pounding throughout the day. Gym is basic but sufficient - a couple treadmills, a couple bikes, and a rack of dumbbells. Garage is tight! If you have anything larger than a VW Jetta, don’t...

"The apartment is great and pretty central to Play del Carmen but we had issues with the noise - two buildings next door were being in construction and bars nearby blared music till around 1 am. Big props to Jose who's very nice and prompt responding to any requests - our 5 gal water dispenser bottle cracked at 11 pm and he promptly came to change it (the water dispenser option is a great feature in itself for foreign clients not wanting to drink the local tap water)."

"The property itself was small but charming, the rooms/suites were large and the backyard was spacious as well with a private pool (a bit chilly as there is not much sun in the back). The room rates were very reasonable for what we got. That being said there was no housekeeping (we stayed for 5 days) and it got quite sandy and messy as there was no broom for us to use. "When arriving to Kuun Taak, we got our walk-thru and I really liked what I saw. The property is very beautiful and has a second floor since we booked the family section with two bedrooms, private hot tub and a private pool. The hot tub on the second floor still had leaves in it. This was a huge disappointment since I was looking forward to the hot tub after a long trip..but I digress and I didn't make a big deal at the time. I was told that if I make a request that the hot tub would be prepared....

"Loved the property and the condo. It was very clean, stocked with essentials, and had multiple pools. The rooftop restaurant was nice and food was awesome. They do have assigned underground parking.Only downfall is finding it and the streets are horrible. We received our checkin email the day of but was able to checkin a hour early. If your not fluent in Spanish definitely have a translator app available because majority of staff speaks Spanish but everyone was very nice."

"This was the first time we stayed at Estrella Del Mar 001 and had a wonderful time. The location was close to everything but not too close where it got too loud. We got to meet a few of the other residents near us and got along well with all. If you are looking for a nice, relaxing space with a spacious living room to entertain or play cards this was a real treat!"

"The electric tiny stove is not hot enough to cook properly, the shower doesn't have enough water flow, the fridge takes 2 days to start cooling after is plugged in, air conditioning works but it takes half day to cool. Pool is ok, but is at the rooftop. "

When we 1st came to the property there was no line no wait but when we got to the room the sheets were okay the bathroom was dirty and the toilet seat was broken falling apart (it did when we left) also. There was just dust everywhere. the door of our room DID NOT WORK they actually had to change the battery or lock on our door to fix the key. That made me feel unsafe. "My husband and I have visited Isla Mujeres numerous times as day trips. This was our first time staying on the island. I must say I won’t do it any other way. This condo exceeded all of our expectations. The host was super nice, quick to respond, and helped us with all of our needs.
