"I loved my stay at the Grand Caribe however, I was never able to access the restaurant dining options because the front desk entered my email address incorrectly and they were unwilling and unhelpful in fixing it. Naomi was very rude, she refused to put the effort into getting it corrected and acted it was like it was my responsibility to fix it when I had no idea of where to even start. To say the least, the link did not work as is noted in other hotel reviews. The other dining options were fantastic. Great burgers and pizza. Emmanuel at breakfast was so wonderful and so were the pool staff and the Solaris bar manager was amazing as were the drinks and the waiters. The room was also great. Berenice was awesome with the massage in the spa. We had a great stay overall and a wonderful time. I would book a stay here again. "

"This property is brand new and they're working out some of the kinks. It's clear. However, I still give it five stars because it truly is gorgeous. My positives are: - Pool side nachos were a must every day. - As someone who is not a drinker drinks were good. A lot of variety too, I think they made every type imaginable. - Italian restaurant had GREAT food. - Beach restaurant was delicious. - Everything was clean. - We were received with a mocktail and towels which was nice. - They provide transportation to and from the beach. Con's: - I told them prior to arrival (like weeks prior) that I was going for my anniversary. I also requested early check-in because our flight got there around 10 am. They said they'd try to see if they have availability. Well, we waited 6 hours until 3 pm and then they just gave us an "upgraded" room because ours was still not clean. There was nothing in the room for our anniversary either, no champagne nothing. I guess they missed it. - Poolside food, mediterranean lunch and room service was ok. Nothing out of this world. - There was barely any Mexican food. My husband and I love mexican food and there were barely any offerings. - Buffet only opens for breakfast and has delicious options, not HUGE but enough and the chilaquiles were amazing. - Room service closes pretty early, not available 24/7. - There were a lot of closed restaurant because half the hotel is still under construction. - Not hotel's fault but beach is rough. "

"We picked this hotel for my son’s 7th birthday. Please note It is definitely a family hotel, I would not recommend for adults only if you are looking to avoid kids. We had a wonderful experience. I had coordinated a birthday package, and was ready in the room upon check in. The communication with the concierge was great. We even received a room upgrade which it seemed we were on the water. The view was outstanding. This made a huge difference for our stay. I can say the check in was a bit messy, but we didn’t care, the staff were very attentive while waiting. The italian restaurant was our favorite and the entertainment was nonstop during the day and night with different activities and events. It is relatively a small hotel but no way to get bored. They have a small water park only for kids, parents are not allowed in the slides. The chairs around the pool are limited but you can always find a space or ask the staff for help. Big thanks to Mario from The front desk, Coral from the concierge, and Richie for making a big difference same for the kind bartender in the lobby bar. "
