"It was a nice little cottage with a great view. The property was clean and well appointed as described. The hosts clearly take pride in their property and are responsive and kind. If you are looking for a locale where you can quickly get to a town/shopping/dining, this is not the ideal place, but we enjoyed staying here and explored. Would definitely go back."

"Overall, we enjoyed our stay. We were delighted to find the beautiful Pemi River just minutes away via a short walk through the woods adjacent to the property. It was an unseasonably warm and wet winter weekend, and the driveway / parking areas were muddy, so just a bit of a warning for other guests to expect this."

"Our son and granddaughter live in Dover so we always find a place to stay so we can visit. This was one of our favorites. Right on bear lake beautiful sunsets the water was warm enough to swim. There was kayaks there to use. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, dishes,seasoning. We had a great time. Just be careful driving in the road is pretty rough."

"Great little cabin for a quick trip. We stayed for a long weekend and it was perfect for my family of 4 - kids ages 2 & 4. There is a cute creek and big rock they climbed in the morning as I made breakfast. The use of Nordic Village amenities is key! The cabin is very small, but it was everything we needed. A couple of suggestions - the house had no wash cloths, no can opener, no salt & pepper shakers. Towels racks in the bathrooms would be a huge help. The listing indicated a hot tub and 2+ bathrooms.
