“Rancho de Lelo Ecolodge is a family owned small lodge, located about 20 minutes from the main area of Monte Verde. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay with this charming family. The National Park is only 10-15 minutes drive. The farm to table cuisine was awesome. Highly recommended. ”

“Rooms are cabin like. No air conditioning or pool but evenings were cooler. Lots of different tours and shopping experiences. Hard to park in town but found a good restaurant with a parking lot. Staff were very nice and knowledgeable ”

“The property is amazing and the staff even more so!! The grounds are immaculate and the view of the cloud forest breath taking. We woke up to a flat tire and Anna and Allison couldn’t have been more helpful in getting us to our morning excursion and on our way afterwards. Without their help we might still be there. Mucho gracias to both!!”

“Very cute, modest B&B. Wonderful views from the common deck off the lobby and breakfast is tasty. Rooms are on the small side, but clean and comfortable. Would stay here again. ”

“Beautiful location, stunning mountain views and the clouds just roll on in to your balcony. Walking distance to some cool places and restaurants. They have a good shuttle service to the forest. Only feedback is some of the staffs attitudes, 2 of the employees were helpful, friendly and kind. The rest seemed snobby and almost judgemental. Could've been 5 stars if it weren't for that. We were WELL AWARE of our checkout time, yet walked by the front desk and stated we are going to pack. 5 minutes……

“Ernesto and his family obviously have pride of ownership in their quaint B&B. But more than that, they obviously have a deep love for what they do and where they live, and they want everyone to have a meaningful experience. They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcomed. The rooms were basic, yet met all the needs and were very comfortable. They were surprisingly large and conveniently located to shops, dining, and attractions. ”
