“We had a great three night stay. The house is well equipped and comfortable. The main road is busy, but the backyard is private and large. We were able to take advantage of the picnic area with fire pit, which is at the end of a woodsy path. Acadia is a bit of a drive, but there are are also plenty of things to do closer by. The beds are very comfortable. It would be nice to have night stands and reading lamps on both sides of the queen and king beds. I recommend this house for family getaways.”

“Our family (4 generations plus dogs) stayed for four nights over new year’s weekend. The owners accommodated us at the last minute when our other rental fell through. They were so responsive and helpful, even provided a pack and play for our 1 year old granddaughter. The house was spacious, comfortable, and very well appointed with kitchen equipment and supplies. Being walking distance to Bridgton village was a plus, yet at the same time, the home felt private and the neighborhood was quiet.……

“Our large family enjoyed getting together in this spacious house and exploring the area around Monmouth, as well as further afield. Lake Cochnewagon itself is beautiful. The property is clean and bright, with ample space for cooking and eating together, as well as playing together inside and out. The beds are all large (even the bunkbeds are doubles) and have very comfortable mattresses (a rarity in many rentals). There was plenty of room outside for volleyball and other games. “We had a nice visit in this beautiful farm house in a beautiful setting. The host communicated all the necessary details ahead of time. The house was clean and spacious with a well stocked kitchen. There were bikes available for the kids to use in the barn and a wonderful dirt road that served as a long, quiet trail for a walk/bike. We were able to see a seal from the picnic table that is down by the water's edge! WiFi in the house worked great and there are dozens of books and DVDs to choose……
